About Us

Gaetano's Vault is a steakhouse, live music venue, and gambling hall in Streator, IL, that serves LaSalle and Livingston counties. Gaetano's Vault is an all-in-one entertainment destination specializing in a fine dining experience, premium steaks, a beer wall with 20 draft beers, and a gaming room. We also offer an extensive menu and a full service bar, featuring pasta, seafood, burgers, specialty cocktails, martinis, bourbon, and more! Our Story

Our owners grew up in the community, and saw the opportunity to re-invigorate an old bank with a lot of storied history behind it and give it a fresh life. Gaetano’s Vault is an upscale restaurant established in 2022 that sits inside the exact location that was once simultaneously robbed by infamous gangsters Al Capone, John Dillinger, and their respective gangs. Our mission is to provide a fine dining experience for the people of Streator, where they can enjoy first class meals and service while enjoying the ambiance and décor of a setting that speaks to the times of the 1930s.

We pride ourselves on carrying the highest quality of meat and ingredients and putting a delicious and satisfying meal on every customer’s plate. Our prime cut steaks are of the finest quality and guaranteed to satisfy every time. We operate a twenty tap beer wall, seasonally rotating our beers to keep our offerings fresh and exciting as the weather changes. Our bar also has a large assortment of spirits including a wide selection of bourbon and various mixed drink options. We’re always here to make any suggestions or help make sure your dining experience with us is one to remember and talk about.

Immerse yourself in our luxurious setting with a plethora of historic photos and antiques on the walls while enjoying the finest food options, beers, and Bourbon that the Midwest has to offer. We’re proud to have assembled some of the best chefs and wait staff around our area that provide a wonderfully catered dining experience from start to finish. We use only the best ingredients and cooking methods to guarantee a perfect dish; from our prime cut, high quality steaks, to our Italian fare, to everything else that we serve.

Our upstairs is an excellent and accommodating space that is the perfect option to host birthday parties, banquets, or any other event you have in mind. We also offer outdoor dining and live music on our spacious patio that’s perfect for enjoying your meal or drinks in the sun.
